Description
Avamys Nasal Spray 7.5mg contains fluticasone furoate, a corticosteroid.
It is primarily used to treat symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, runny or itchy nose caused by allergies.
Fluticasone furoate works by reducing inflammation in the nasal passages, decreasing swelling and irritation to help relieve allergy symptoms.
The spray is available as a nasal spray and is used by spraying into each nostril, usually once daily.
Dosage instructions typically recommend one or two sprays per nostril once daily, as directed by a healthcare professional.
Common side effects may include nasal irritation, dryness, nosebleeds, and, rarely, headache or unpleasant taste or smell.
Contraindications include hypersensitivity to fluticasone or any other ingredients in the spray.
Patients should avoid spraying into damaged or infected nasal mucosa and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
