Cefuroxime tablets 500mg (Foxitil) contain cefuroxime, an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin class. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections, and certain types of Lyme disease.
