Dermovate Cream 20 g contains the active ingredient Clobetasol propionate at a concentration of 0.05% and is a very potent topical corticosteroid. It is used to treat inflammatory skin conditions that do not respond adequately to milder steroid treatments.
Main Uses:

Psoriasis (except widespread plaque psoriasis) to help relieve redness, scaling, and itching.

Persistent dermatoses and other severe inflammatory skin conditions.

Skin conditions such as lichen planus and discoid lupus erythematosus.
Mechanism of Action:
Clobetasol propionate works by reducing inflammation, redness, and itching through inhibiting the release of inflammatory substances in the skin.
How to Use:

Apply a thin layer of the cream once or twice daily to the affected areas of the skin and gently rub it in.

Treatment should generally not continue for more than 4 weeks without medical advice.

It should not be used in children under 12 years of age unless specifically prescribed by a doctor.
