Description
Doloforte Denk is a pain relief medication that combines the active ingredients tramadol and paracetamol. Tramadol is an opioid analgesic used to treat moderate to severe pain, while paracetamol is a non-opioid pain reliever that enhances the analgesic effect of tramadol.
This medication is available in the form of film-coated tablets, with each tablet containing 37.5 mg of tramadol and 325 mg of paracetamol. The usual dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above is 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed, with a maximum daily dose not exceeding 8 tablets (equivalent to 300 mg tramadol and 2600 mg paracetamol). The tablets should be swallowed whole with sufficient fluid.
Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness. It is important not to take Doloforte Denk together with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or certain other medications. Dose adjustment may be required in patients with liver or kidney impairment. Doloforte Denk should be used under medical supervision due to the risk of dependence and abuse.
The tablets should be stored in a dry place at room temperature and kept out of reach of children.
