Latanoprost Eye Drop (Exeter) contains latanoprost as its active ingredient.

Primary Medical Uses:

Dosage Instructions:
– Usually administered as one drop in the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the evening.
– Consistent use at the same time each day is important.
– Avoid contact of the dropper tip with the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
– Remove contact lenses before applying the drop and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.

Side Effects, Contraindications, or Interactions:
– Common side effects include eye redness, irritation, dryness, blurred vision, and sometimes increased brown pigmentation of the iris.
– Contraindicated in patients with allergy or sensitivity to latanoprost or other ingredients in the formulation.
– Use with caution if there is active ocular infection or inflammation.
– Concurrent use with other prostaglandin analogues is not recommended.
– If multiple eye medications are prescribed, administer each at least 5 minutes apart.

Use under medical supervision for effective management of intraocular pressure.
