Description
Oxybutynin 2.5 mg tablets are used to treat symptoms of overactive bladder, such as frequent or urgent urination, urinary incontinence, and increased nighttime urination. It belongs to the class of medications called anticholinergics or antimuscarinics.
Oxybutynin works by relaxing the smooth muscles in the bladder, thereby reducing spasms and increasing bladder capacity.
The tablets are taken orally, usually 2.5 mg two to three times daily, or as prescribed by a healthcare professional. Dosage may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerability.
