Peladol Extra Tablets are a combination analgesic formulated to provide rapid relief from mild to moderate pain conditions such as headaches, migraines, toothaches, menstrual pain, backaches, and fever. Each tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol (acetaminophen) and 65 mg of caffeine. Paracetamol acts as a pain reliever and fever reducer, while caffeine enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol. The tablets are typically available in blister packs, each containing 10 tablets. The usual dosage for adults and children over 12 years is 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed, not exceeding 8 tablets in 24 hours. It is not recommended for children under 12 years unless directed by a doctor. Common side effects may include nausea, upset stomach, insomnia, or restlessness due to caffeine. Rare side effects can include allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling. It is important to avoid taking Peladol Extra with other products containing paracetamol to prevent overdose.
