UPERIO Tab 100 mg contains a combination of Valsartan and Sacubitril.
Primary Uses:
– Treatment of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.

Drug Class or Type:
– Combination of an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and a neprilysin inhibitor.
General Mechanism of Action:
– Valsartan blocks angiotensin II receptors, causing vasodilation, lowering blood pressure, and reducing heart workload.
– Sacubitril inhibits neprilysin enzyme, increasing levels of natriuretic peptides that promote vasodilation and sodium excretion, reducing blood volume and strain on the heart.
