Description
Vagid-CL is a prescription vaginal suppository combining an antibiotic and an antifungal agent. It is primarily used to treat mixed vaginal infections, including bacterial vaginosis, candidiasis, trichomoniasis, and other causes of abnormal vaginal discharge.
**Composition:**
– Clindamycin Phosphate: 100 mg
– Clotrimazole: 200 mg
**Dosage Instructions:**
– Insert one suppository deep into the vagina at bedtime for three consecutive nights.
– Wash hands before and after use.
– Remain lying down for at least 15 minutes after insertion to ensure proper absorption.
**Common Side Effects:**
– Vaginal burning sensation
– Itching
– Irritation
