Koffex Children Cough Syrup is an oral liquid formulation designed to alleviate cough and associated symptoms in children.

– Relieves cough and associated symptoms in children.

**Dosage Instructions:**
– **Children 6–12 years:** 5 ml (1 teaspoon) every 4–6 hours.
– **Children under 6 years:** Not recommended unless prescribed by a doctor.
– Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours.
**Side Effects, Contraindications, or Interactions:**
– **Side Effects:** Drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, upset stomach, dry mouth or throat, confusion, or restlessness. In rare cases, allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or difficulty breathing.
– **Contraindications:** Not suitable for wet or productive coughs. Avoid use in children under 6 without medical advice. Do not combine with other medications containing dextromethorphan or MAO inhibitors.
– **Precautions:** Use with caution if you have a history of asthma, liver disease, or respiratory depression.
