Natrixam Tab contains a combination of indapamide 1.5 mg and amlodipine 5 mg.
Indapamide is a thiazide-like diuretic that helps reduce excess salt and water in the body by increasing urine output. This action lowers blood volume, which helps to lower blood pressure.
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels by preventing calcium from entering the muscle cells of the heart and blood vessels. This vasodilation reduces blood pressure and improves blood flow.
Primary Uses:
– Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
– Management of edema associated with heart failure or kidney disorders.
